COMMITTED TO NET ZERO
Global Sustainability Pioneers Attending SAFAPAC
APAC's leading event for advancing Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF)
Air travel in Asia-Pacific is projected to be the fastest-growing worldwide, making SAF essential for airlines and governments to meet their net zero commitments. Australia, Singapore, and Japan are already leading in project development and policy planning, while New Zealand, Malaysia, and the South Pacific are beginning to emerge.
The SAF APAC Summit 2026 (#SAFAPAC26) will take place on 8–9 July 2026 in Melbourne, Australia, and is set to be APAC’s leading event for advancing sustainable aviation fuels. The summit will explore pathways to decarbonize aviation, covering the full SAF value chain with perspectives on policy, supply and demand growth, technology innovation, and business model evolution, while addressing the unique dynamics of the APAC market.
The event will bring together 500+ leaders from airlines, governments, SAF producers, finance, technology, and the wider aviation supply chain, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and partnerships to accelerate SAF adoption. Attendees will gain valuable insights into aviation’s decarbonization potential and actively shape the future of SAF in the region.

The Premier Event for APAC Energy Leaders Committed to Net Zero

SAF APAC Insights Series
Through exclusive Impact Interviews and high-level executive dialogues, senior leaders from NSW Government, Austrade, Airbus, Boeing, ASAFA, ISCC, and Jet Zero examine how APAC is turning SAF from policy ambition into scalable, bankable market reality.
[Impact Interview] NSW Building Australia’s SAF Hub
Ian Smith, Executive Director at the NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, shared how NSW is building a competitive SAF ecosystem, backed by feedstock strengths, policy support, infrastructure readiness, and workforce development.
The inaugural SAF APAC Summit 2026 will be hosted at W Melbourne.
This venue will accommodate over 500 decision-makers from the APAC SAF sector, offering expansive spaces for learning, networking, and business. W Melbourne, the city's first luxury lifestyle hotel, takes its rebellious design cues from its Flinders Lane address in Australia’s cultural capital.
Even more exciting, our summit will be co-located with Connecting Green Hydrogen APAC 2026, Carbon Capture APAC 2026, and Australia Wind Energy 2026—the region's largest hydrogen, CCUS, and wind events. Together, we will drive the energy transition forward and create unparalleled networking opportunities.

ACCELERATING THE FUTURE OF FLIGHT
Scaling SAF for APAC’s Sustainable Aviation Revolution
In the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, the SAF market is experiencing significant growth, with countries such as Australia, Japan, Korea, and Singapore leading the way through substantial investments in SAF production facilities. By 2040, SAF is expected to comprise 25-30% of the region's aviation fuel, and by 2050, it is anticipated to reach a 50% share, playing a crucial role in achieving net-zero emissions.
