Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) is a cornerstone in the aviation industry's transition to a more sustainable future. In the Asia-Pacific region, the SAF market is experiencing significant growth, with countries such as Australia, Japan, Korea, and Singapore leading the way through substantial investments in SAF production facilities. 

By 2040, SAF is expected to comprise 25-30% of the region's aviation fuel, and by 2050, it is anticipated to reach a 50% share, playing a crucial role in achieving net-zero emissions. By investing in SAF research and development, expanding production capacity, developing a well-structured certificating system, and implementing supportive policies, APAC can lead the global aviation industry and drive economic growth and innovation.

While challenges involving technology, funding, and certification still exist, governments, industry stakeholders, and international organizations must collaborate to find a mutually beneficial path. By addressing these challenges and providing insights into opportunities, we invite these essential stakeholders to converge and discuss at the SAF APAC 2025 summit.
