[IMPACT Webinar] Saying Yes to Opportunities: Building the New SAF Powerhouse
Date & Time: 14:00- 16:00, Melbourne time | 9 June 2026
Format: Digital Conference
Abstract:
The Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) industry in the APAC region is transitioning from observing the market to establishing solid progress. With Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia set to implement 1-2% blending mandates by 2026 and 2027, and substantial Australian government funds invested in SAF, APAC is signalling a unified, long-term commitment to aviation decarbonization. APAC is not simply catching up, but actively shaping the future.

This shift has uncovered many opportunities in the region, and it has moved the sector beyond "market hype", replaced now by pilot programs, and cross-sector collaborations. Projects that aim to build supply chains and infrastructure are budding. Today’s session starts with a regional overview, and highlights these projects across APAC’s SAF market.

This webinar is a part of the insight series leading up to the SAF APAC Summit 2026 in Melbourne. Join us as experts divulge insights to inspire more regional partnerships and accelerate collaborations in the industry.
